As a trace element, zinc is an important factor in numerous metabolic processes, for example, cell division and protein metabolism. If insufficient zinc is added to the body through diet, zinc will be deficient and cell metabolism will be disrupted. Inflammation of the skin such as pimples, pustules or papules is the result, which regenerates only slowly due to slow wound healing. An adequate supply of zinc is therefore not only important for a strengthened immune system, but also for healthy skin:

    Ideally, apply the zinc ointment to the affected areas of the skin overnight using a cotton swab. Important: Never apply over a large area, since a zinc ointment can trigger other pimples due to its high-fat content. In combination with vitamin A creams  (retinol) hopefully, pimples will soon be a thing of the past.
